Last week we sadly lost legendary Roland TR-808 drum machine inventor Ikutaro Kakehashi. An innovator who made an incredible contribution to modern music, and one fully deserving of a full Tracks Show tribute.

So this week we picked 3 songs each which feature a 808 beat, and went all the way from 1970s Japanese new wave to dance and hip-hop tunes from the last few years.

There are also musical highlights of the week from Glass Animals and, bizarrely, Right Said Fred, making it yet another bumper week.
