It’s Pancake Day in the UK, and we’re celebrating the only way we know how – by picking big tunes with unbelievably convoluted connections to the big event. 

This week, we’re talking about acts who won us over from a place of indifference (we couldn’t give a ‘toss’ – see the pancake connection now?!), to being fully-fledged fans. There’s recognition for tracks from the likes of The Stranglers, Christine and the Queens, TV On The Radio and Blossoms, and plenty of bad punning and good podcasting along the way.

Away from the main theme, there are musical highlights of the week from The Magic Gang and Thundercat. These are two acts who have got us super excited, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
