This week we review the Marvel-but-not-MCU(yet?), not-a-superhero movie, self-proclaimed-love-story...Deadpool.  We discuss the movie's wit, style of humor, creativity, non-linear storytelling, meta-references, and mature content.  (That's a lot of hyphens there, Francis.)

Is this a comic book movie or a love story (or both)?  Did the amount of profanity & violence hit the bullseye, or did the movie's mature content totally miss the mark?  Did the romantic element elevate the movie to the heights of a working helicarrier, or was it just as cheap & crude as Wade Wilson's living accommodations?

Don't forget your red suit, Hugh Jackman mask, cab fare, and ammo bag as we contemplate, deliberate, adjudicate, advocate, and assassinate...Deadpool.  (That's a lot big words there, Francis.)

Maximum Effort!!!  ;)

You're still here?!?  The episode description is over.  Go.  Go, listen to the episode.  Oh, you're expecting a teaser for a Deadpool 2 review?  We don't plan that far ahead.  Go...

(That last line was a spoof of Deadpool's mid-credit scene, which was itself a spoof of Ferris Bueller's Day Off's end-credit scene, in case you didn't catch it.  But, seriously, go.  Go, listen to the episode.)

(Or, more accurately, you don't actually have to go anywhere.  You're already there.  Just put in your earbuds and click play.  Click play.  Click play now.)
