Michael Sliwinski is humble. You can tell by his voice. And determined – you can tell by his actions. And successful. That would be the 300,000 users of his productivity software, Nozbe.
Nozbe, which Michael created after being inspired by David Allen’s Getting Things Done, does help you be more productive
He created Nozbe by testing it on himself and other software consultants like him, made improvements and so on. Nozbe has a free version which my editor happens to use, a $100 per year version that I use, and more.
Michael is an immigrant from Poland to Spain but considers himself a European because he speaks 5 languages and his software is published in 5 European languages. Now that he is opening his business to Korea and Japan, perhaps he will consider himself a global entrepreneur.
In this podcast, Michael shares productivity tips, even physical ones – on how to stand and sit.
Michael explains:
How he created his enterprise,
How he learns languages
How he organizes his 20+ employees in multiple countries without an office
How Japan inspired him to raise his standards.
Why he re-produced (not just translated) Nozbe into 7 languages
Best memory from Poland – Playing (European) Football and Basketball
His best skill
The Polish secret sauce
He talks about his immigrant perspective and more broadly, how movement gives one inspiration.
I’d truly appreciate it if you could leave your comments regarding the interview with Michael or anything else.
Thanks!
