This episode is a case that was passed down through generations of detectives in a small Canadian community. It continues to haunt everyone who has been involved to this day. In 1977, the body of a murder victim was found in a septic tank just outside of Toefield. To this day, more than forty years later, his identity and the identity of his killer or killers remains a mystery. Due to the location where he was found, he has become known as Septic Tank Sam.
